Description Introduced in 1988, the Canadian Silver Maple Leaf is one of the most coveted silver bullion coins in the world. The Silver Maple Leaf debuted nearly a decade after its gold bullion counterpart debuted in 1979, and was the first silver bullion coin in the world from a major industrialized nation to include .9999 silver content. Now, 2026 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Coins are available online. Coin Highlights: Contains 1 troy oz of .9999 pure silver in BU condition. Issued a face value of $5 (CAD) by Canada. King Charles III on the obverse. Sugar maple leaf on the reverse. Enhanced security privy is laser-engraved on the reverse. In the obverse of 2026 1 oz Silver Maple Leaf Coins, the Royal Canadian Mint features a portrait of King Charles III. Designed for the RCM in 2024, this left-profile relief of Charles III showcases the monarch in left-profile relief without a crown on his head. The image was created by Steven Rosati. For the reverse of 2026 Canadian Silver Maple Leafs, the design field maintains its historic depiction of the sugar maple leaf. The leaf design shown here was created in 1979 by Walter Ott for the debut of the Gold Maple Leaf and has remained consistent on the coins across the silver, platinum, and palladium variants. The sugar maple evolved in eastern North America during the Tertiary period, roughly 65 million years ago, as part of the broader maple genus that originated in Asia. As glacial periods advanced and retreated over millennia, sugar maples adapted to the temperate climate of what is now the northeastern United States and southeastern Canada. These 2026 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Coins are available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Individual coins are packaged in plastic flips, with multiples of 25 coins housed in protective tubes and multiples of 500 coins housed in Monster Boxes. Each box comes with 20 tubes of coins, and all coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. All coins in this series have a laser-engraved maple leaf privy mark on the reverse.
