Description The Fullex 35/92 3 Deadbolt Composite Multipoint Lock offers a replacement solution when matching existing 35mm backset multipoint locks on composite and timber doors. The lock is built around a Euro cylinder with a centrally positioned latch and deadbolt lock case. It is also combined with two additional deadbolts to provide additional locking engagement along the door. The lock positions its additional deadbolts 685mm above and 715mm below the centre. This gives a 1400mm deadbolt-to-deadbolt measurement. A 44mm square-end faceplate runs along the 2100mm overall length of the lock, providing a clean finish suited to modern composite and timber doors. The square-end design allows it to align neatly within standard door preparations. Its full-length strip supports the fixed locking points without the need for add-on extensions. This makes it suitable for doors already designed around a non-extendable configuration. The lock operates using a lift lever which allows the locking points to fully engage before the key turns the cylinder. The central gearbox contains a latch and deadbolt arrangement, giving everyday access through the latch and enhanced security once fully locked. The lock uses a dual spindle setup with 92/62mm PZ centres, separating the handles from the locking function. The 35mm backset measurement must be matched correctly to the existing door to ensure the handle and cylinder align with the aperture. As a critical security component, correct maintenance helps preserve smooth function over time. Applying a light lubricant to the gearing and moving parts within the gearbox reduces friction and protects the latch and deadbolts from premature wear and tear. When replacing a multipoint lock, it is often practical to upgrade to a 3-star Euro cylinder at the same time to improve resistance against snap attacks. Many installers also choose to renew the door handles during replacement to maintain alignment and refresh the overall finish.
