Description The Fullex XL 45mm 3 Hook 44mm White Faceplate Multipoint Door Lock is used to replace worn or failed multipoint door locks in composite and timber doors. This lock suits doors requiring a 45mm backset with 92/62mm PZ centres, making it compatible with many standard Fullex installations. The lift lever operation allows the hooks to engage securely into the frame keeps before the euro cylinder secures the lock with a key. The faceplate is a 44mm square-end design finished in white, making it consistent with modern composite and timber doors. Its continuous profile follows the door edge without interruptions across the full 2040mm length. It also features a central gearbox that houses the latch and primary hook while maintaining its positioning within the door slab. Once engaged, the additional hooks align evenly above and below the centre case allowing consistent engagement against the frame. Technically, the lock incorporates a central latch and hook locking feature supported by two additional hooks. Anti-lift pins are fitted as standard to help resist upward movement from the hinge side once locked. The 45mm backset version provides a 1295mm hook-to-hook measurement with 630mm from the top hook to centre and 665mm from the bottom hook to centre. The lock measures 2040mm overall with a dual spindle and is non-extendable to ensure fixed dimensions when required. Furthermore, we recommend routinely lubricating the internal gearbox and moving parts to reduce internal wear and tear. Regular maintenance is particularly important on full-length multipoint systems, as all hooks must travel freely to achieve correct locking. Upgrading to a 3-star high security euro cylinder can improve resistance against snapping, drilling and picking. Changing the door handles at the same time also allows the spindle and lever to be refreshed in line with the dual spindle arrangement.
