Lockmaster 45/92 2 Hook White Faceplate Composite Multipoint Lock

Description The Yale Lockmaster 45/92 2 Hook White Faceplate Composite Multipoint Lock is fitted to composite and timber doors prepared for a 45mm backset centre case. It’s intended to replace worn out or failed Lockmaster strips, so the existing handle and cylinder cut-outs remain in the same position. In use, lifting the lever drives the locking points into position. This throws the hooks as the mechanism engages. Turning the key will also secure the central deadbolt within the gearbox, completing the locking sequence. Its centre case sits at handle height to line up with the spindle and cylinder cut-outs, and from that case the latch and deadbolt operate within the locking mechanism. One hook is positioned 720mm above the centre case, and the other sits 770mm below it. Furthermore, the hook-to-hook distance measures 1490mm. This provides the precise measurement needed to align with the keeps already fitted to the frame. With a 45mm backset, the spindle follower and cylinder sit further into the door leaf than on a 35mm version. The 92/62mm centres maintain the correct spacing between the handle spindle and euro cylinder, and the dual spindle follower allows separate internal and external handle control. The strip is not extendable, which means the 2040mm overall length must match the existing preparation exactly. We also recommend checking that the hook throws into the keeps confirming full engagement. Apply light lubrication to the latch, hooks, and deadbolt during routine servicing to keep the action smooth. If any movement appears along the door edge, tighten the faceplate fixings to keep the strip secure.
