Description The Lockmaster 45/92 20mm Faceplate 3 Hook Radius End Timber & Composite Multipoint Lock is designed to secure timber and composite doors built for a 45mm backset and 92/62mm PZ centres. It’s a straight like-for-like replacement for Yale Lockmaster multipoint locks where the handle operates the gearbox on a lift lever. In the central case you’ve got both the latch and hook locking which are controlled by the key. It also has two additional hooks along the strip, helping you gain increased compression and resistance right across the full height of the door. The 20mm radius end faceplate runs the full 1770mm length of the door edge. The centre lock case is also set to suit 92/62mm handle centres with a 45mm backset measured from the faceplate to the spindle. Inside that centre gearbox sits the latch and primary hook, while the top and bottom hooks are spaced 1490mm apart from hook to hook. This is made so the keeps align with the existing frame keeps. From the spindle follower through to the Euro cylinder position, everything lines up on 92/62mm PZ centres, and it is also designed for dual spindle handle sets using 92/62mm centres. When you lift the lever, the hooks fire into the keeps first, which means the key can then secure the lock. This lock itself is not extendable, so it’s intended for doors already set for a 1770mm overall strip length. And for the lock to keep working as it should, we recommend routine maintenance. This includes lubricating the latch and hooks and checking that the keeps align correctly with the hooks.
