Description The WMS 35/92 2 Hook 2 Roller Dual Spindle PVC Multipoint Lock is made for uPVC doors that lock by lifting the handle before turning the key. It replaces multipoint strips where the handle and cylinder follow a 92mm PZ configuration. In addition, this lock provides a secondary 62mm handle centre for doors that use a dual spindle arrangement. The mechanism is specifically selected when the handle position sits 35mm back from the door edge. For correct installation, a 16mm square-end faceplate runs the length of the strip and carries the locking points. The centre case sits in the middle of the strip and contains the latch and deadbolt. One hook is positioned above the centre case while the second hook sits below it, providing a 1215mm hook-to-hook measurement. Two rollers are also positioned along the strip to apply compression against the frame keeps and seals. To secure the door along the frame, lifting the lever drives the hooks and rollers into their corresponding keeps. At the same time, the rollers apply compression to help pull the door tightly into the seals. A euro cylinder passes through the centre case and secures the mechanism after the lift lever has been engaged. The spindle passes through the centre case using a dual spindle layout, and the handle centres measure 92mm and 62mm between the spindle and cylinder positions. The roller-to-roller measurement is 1510mm, while the overall strip length measures 2200mm. The mechanism is also extendable for compatibility with adjustable uPVC door preparations. We recommend regular maintenance to ensure the lock’s performance. Routinely check that the hooks and rollers engage the keeps without obstruction. In addition, lightly lubricate the latch, deadbolt, hooks, rollers, and moving components to support smooth lift-lever operation over time. If resistance develops during locking, the door alignment and keeps should be inspected.
